The makers of the much-awaited upcoming film Hanneman in South India have fixed the theatrical premiere date for Sankranthi 2024.
After tremendous blockbusters like Baahubali, RRR, Pushpa: The Rise etc., Tollywood film industry, which is currently in its golden phase, is all set to release another pan-India feature titled Hanuman.

Hanuman is written and directed by Prashanth Varma, known for directing films such as Away (2018) and Zombie Reddy (2021), and is billed as the first superhero film of Telugu cinema.
Varma is a creative director whose groundbreaking ideas have redefined Telugu culture. He revealed the film on 29 May 2021, a day before his birthday. Since then superhero fans in India have taken interest in it.
Filming began on the same day as the film was launched with an official puja program in June 2021. Mollywood’s hottest star Dulquer Salmaan released the first look of the film in September 2021.

HanuMan Movie Release Date
The superhero film was originally scheduled to release in theaters on May 12, 2023, with Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi, English, Spanish, Korean, Japanese and Chinese versions. However, the release date got postponed and the makers released a statement in this regard along with the teaser. Now the release date will be announced on July 1 instead of May 12, 2023.
Earlier, at the Hyderabad teaser launch event, director Prashant Varma had said that the production budget of Hanuman has increased six times from its original estimate.
HanuMan Movie Star Cast
Produced by Primeshow Entertainment, the film stars talented young actor Teja Sajja in the lead role of Hanumanthu. In November 2021, he was last seen in the sci-fi romance Adabhootam, available exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.
Along with Teja, the film also stars Vinay Rai as Michael, Amrita Iyer as Meenakshi, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar as Anjamma and Raj Deepak Shetty.
About the Movie
Hanuman is also included in the Prashant Varma Cinematic Universe, which is based on the fictional world of Anjanadri. Hanuman, a Hindu deity, served as inspiration for the film. According to filmmaker Prashant Verma, Hanuman is the title of the film, which is dedicated to the many people who associate Lord Hanuman with some superhero or superpower from Hindu mythology.
HanuMan Movie Non-Theatrical Rights
It is reported that the non-theatrical rights like OTT and satellite rights of the film have been sold for a huge amount. Z Network reportedly paid Rs 16 crore for the post-theatrical OTT rights and satellite rights of the Hindi and Telugu versions of the film.
HanuMan Movie Teaser
The teaser of the film was to be unveiled on November 15, 2022, but the industry was in shock after the demise of veteran superstar Krishna, which delayed the teaser announcement schedule. The teaser was later released on Monday, 21 November. It is an action mythological drama, and the VFX look rich and spectacular.
The makers of the film took the entire nation by surprise with its incredibly compelling teaser.

The trailer of the film has not been made available yet by the makers of Hanuman. The official teaser is receiving positive reviews despite the fact that the makers of the film had initially revealed the release date but later changed it.
