Jawan Box Office Collection Day 1: Shahrukh Khan’s film is doing record breaking earnings
The film Jawan, which released in theaters on Thursday, is performing incredibly well both domestically and internationally. Film industry analyst Ramesh Bala estimates that Jaawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, will earn $150 million on its first day in theatres. It seems as if Shah Rukh Khan’s film can never go bad. ‘Jawaan’ released on 7th September to an unprecedented level of appreciation and will now be remembered as a milestone in cinema. Even surpassing SRK’s own “Pathan”, the Atlee-directed action thriller scored the best opening day of any Hindi film in Indian box office history. According to reports, this Shahrukh starrer film earned a grand total of Rs 75 crore in India and around Rs 150 crore worldwide.

According to film business tracking website sacnlk.com, the Hindi version of the action-packed film has reportedly earned Rs 65 crore, breaking the previous record set by Shah Rukh Khan with “Pathan” in January this year.Siddharth Anand’s film starring Deepika Padukone, John Abraham and others collected Rs 55 crore on its first day at the theatres.
‘Jawaan’ earned around Rs 75 crore on its first day of release, the Hindi version earned around Rs 65 crore and the dubbed Tamil and Telugu versions earned around Rs 10 crore each.
The Hindi version of the film achieved an average occupancy of 58.67% on Thursday. Chennai has the highest occupancy rate (81%).
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala predicted that “Jawaan” would earn at least Rs 150 crore worldwide on its opening day on Xx (formerly Twitter).
