Allu Arjun is playing the lead role in the much awaited Telugu film Pushpa 2 directed by Sukumar. The first installment of Pushpa released on December 17, 2021 and the film collected huge crowds at the ticket counters.
It was so popular that all five of its translations – Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi – were successful. When Maharashtra, the Hindi belt’s biggest market, ran with only 50% occupancy due to the pandemic, Pushpa was released in the Hindi circuit without any promotion.
It also competed against two masterpieces of that time, Spiderman: No Way Home and Kabir Khan’s ’83. Despite all this, Allu Arjun’s film managed to earn at least Rs 100 crore at the North Box Office against all odds and challenged Bollywood for the number one spot.

Pushpa: The Rule could be one of the costliest films to release this year. Even before its release, the film is breaking all the previous records. The audio rights of the film were sold for Rs 65 crore. The makers of Pushpa: The Rule recently met Bhushan Kumar in Mumbai and reached an agreement; However, it is still unclear whether TSeries will have the Hindi rights of the film or not.
Pushpa 2: The Rule Release Date
Ahead of Allu Arjun’s birthday, the makers of Pushpa: The Rule unveiled the first image of the film. The release date of Pushpa: The Rule has not been made official yet. In a previous interview, director Sukumar had hoped that the film would be in theaters by December 2022.
However, it appears that due to shooting delays the film will now hit theaters in late 2023 or early 2024.

As far as we know, the filmmakers disappointed the audience by making Pushpa (played by Allu) more powerful inside the Red Sanders syndicate and introducing a threatening and unscrupulous new SP of Chittoor district.
The second installment will focus on Pushpa’s life after marriage and her struggle with the madman Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, while the first part traces her rise from a coolie to an influential member of the syndicate.
Soon after its release, Srivalli and Oo Anta Oo topped the charts; Earlier, it was said that DSP had already penned the music for Part 2.

On 8 April, Allu Arjun’s birthday, the makers of Pushpa: The Rule released a three-minute trailer for the film. To officially announce the sequel, a video featuring Allu Arjun in the role of Pushp Raj was released.
